This post will have to be quick, as I’m running on 12% battery life on my MacBook.
I’ve decided to try blogging again. It’s been a while. My first excuse for not writing was teaching. It worked for a while, but truthfully, now that I’m thick into my third year and now half time, I do have time to write. So my other excuse has become Facebook. I am a junkie. An addict. Whatever name you want to give that identity — I am it. I’m not going to give up on Facebook, but I’m going to more or less move my thoughts from my status messages to here.
Word of Caution: It may not be pretty. I’m a pretty candid person and so expect my writings to be that way as well. Because I will probably have a mixture of people I do and don’t want reading this, I will censure a bit what I post. Who knows who will find and read this. Old lovers. Parents. Students. Colleagues. My boss. Neighbors. Friends. Strangers. So in keeping with all the above in mind, I’ll play it by ear. I won’t write anything that will get me fired, but I may write about things that will get people fired up. I guess all I can say is why don’t you comment here about what I’ve written instead of talking about me behind my back? I’m all for open communication and honesty. I haven’t experienced a lot of that the “real world” — which is filled with political back stabbing and behind the back talking. So that’s all give a fresh start to open communication, collaboration, and honesty.
Ok… now I’m at 8%.
